I HARDLY EVER USE THE SCREEN VERSION.

I HAVE A CHART ON MY DESK UNDER A CLEAR
PLASTIC WRITING SURFACE.  IT'S "AWAYS ON!"

I ALSO USE ADDITIONAL CHARTS SO I DON'T HAVE TO
MOVE MY KEYBOARD.  I CARRY TWO IN MY BRIEFCASE.

CHEAP CLEAR SHELF PAPER LAMINATES THEM NICELY
SO THEY LAST FOR YEARS, EVEN WITH HEAVY USE.
Professional heavy-duty laminating would be stunning!

If you don't have a printed chart yet, PRINT ONE NOW!

The new plot is really cool on the screen, but is rather
complex to print from the .html, as the notes indicate.

There are a large number of variables to get correct.
I not only adjust page setup, margins, and so forth in the
document itself, but my browser has settings for font size
and style, and my printer has options for speed, printable
area, preview, paper size, paper surface, dots per inch, etc!

If everything isn't perfect, you lose the right hand column, or it
spills over onto three pages, which will not print on one sheet.

Getting it to print exactly as you want can be very difficult.
I spent days fooling around with it to make it really pretty.
I never did get it to print right thru IE, though Neal has.

If you are having trouble printing it properly, this might help:
I finally got it set up right for my browser/printer combination.
I printed it out at 2880 Dots Per Inch, on two photo quality
glossy pages, with slow [one directional] printing.

IT'S GORGEOUS!

I SCANNED THE PRINTED PAGES.

I put the photos at the web site, so you can
simply save and print these two .jpg files:

There aren't any navigation buttons on the .jpg files,
so you'll need to use your browser's BACK button.
It's about 2.3 megs total download for the two files.

That should make printing a high quality chart much easier.

The image isn't quite as clear as printing directly from .html,
        [you can put the .html and .jpg versions in open
        windows to COMPARE the detail . . . like UCP!]
but nothing can be done about that. It's still VERY SHARP, and laid out
so it fits nicely on the page. I saved the two files at largest file size and
maximum image resolution. Printing with MAXIMUM PRINTABLE AREA,
FIT-TO-PAGE and ZERO PAGE MARGINS on your printer options will give
you the biggest possible image on the page, and be the easiest to read. I
cropped it close to maximize size. TURN OFF HEADERS AND FOOTERS.

If you can print properly direct from the .html, you wiill get a slightly
better image, but if the setup is problematic . . . just print the .jpgs!

You can print it as fine as you like. The more dots per inch,
the slower you print, and the better paper you have . . . the
better it will look!  It looks GOOD in black and white on copy
paper!  It's FINE at 360 DPI color on matte photo paper!
At 2880 DPI on glossy photo paper, it's *EXQUISITE!*
