This ENTIRE approach is a *TOTAL DISASTER*, and *LOCKS* YOU IN TO THE TONE LEVEL OF ENEMY OR LOWER. It makes your ENTIRE CASE A *MOTIVATOR*, and encourages you to COMMIT *OVERTS* ON IT. As a consequence of this, the general basic "ceiling" on the "OT" $cientology case is ENEMY as a spiritual being.

To be sure, some people are higher than that when they come in. Some rise above the tone level of the organization and the technology on their own purposes and abilities. By and large, however, the typical "OT" is in ENEMY, and the vast majority of $cientology $taff are in TREASON or lower, towards themselves, as beings.


THE ONE BIG WHY

$cientology has a very long history of looking for that ONE "magic bullet" that will KILL, decimate, annihilate, blow up, destroy, obliterate, vanquish or vanish your entire case. They looked for "THE incident necessary to resolve the case" for many years. They looked for "the rock." They looked for the "basic basic." They looked at hundreds of thousands of Goals Problems Masses, seeking the primary pair. They looked backwards through trillions of years and many universes, seeking the SOURCE of aberration. They tried the "clearing" course, which was supposed to make you completely sane by totally destroying your "reactive mind." Then they went to OT3 [the "wall of fire"] and SNOTS [more "wall of fire" BODY THETANS], still seeking the "real" cause of aberration.

NONE of these approaches has EVER been widely successful at gettting people above death on the tone scale, [though amazingly effective at slamming them solidly into dramatization], but now that Tubbard is dead, they CAN'T, by infallible sacred scripture, find any more technical WHYS, so now they use "ETHICS" to destroy any person who dares to have a case in spite of their "magic tech".

This approach is cosmicly absurd. It pits "YOU vs. YOUR CASE" in a KILL OR BE KILLED WAR that is solidly and irrevocably in the condition of ENEMY. Approaching your "case" as THE ENEMY denies that IT *IS* YOU, and keeps you in the condition of ENEMY TO YOURSELF. It keeps you looking for something *NOT YOU* to attack and destroy: locks, secondaries, engrams, GPM's, implants, evil overlords, body thetans, out lists . . . you name it, we got it. And it's all NOT YOU. It's YOUR "CASE," not YOU! That's the REAL WHY! It's "YOU vs. the BAD GUYS." YOU = GOOD. CASE = BAD. KILL!

It also keeps you endlessly searching for that ONE THING that will FINALLY "resolve your case," and constantly bypassing and ignoring everything else that doesn't seem to have the potential for the "holy grail" of total case obliteration. To be sure, this frantic hunt for the "one shot" cure has been a total failure, but that endless quest IS the research history, and the ideal is still very much there.

Actually, the GOOD NEWS is that there *IS* ONE ITEM that finally WILL resolve your case. That item is YOU, NOW, IN PRESENT TIME. YOU *ARE* what you are looking for. Finding the real you, in fact, will resolve roughly half your case [the BE half, leaving the DO half for the above-death upper conditions].

That one item [YOU!] is *NOT* something that you attack and destroy, as-is, erase, or BLOW. You don't deal with it as the ENEMY, or you STAY in enemy or worse.


HOW THINGS ACTUALLY RESOLVE

$cientology, in its search for the "one item" came up with the "basic on the chain" or "basic-basic" theory. This simplistic doctrine holds that ALL the charge in some area is held in place by the earliest incident on the chain, and when you find and "blow" this incident the "entire chain" "erases."

This implies a kind of short-cut to enlightenment, i.e., all those later incidents aren't "really" important, as long as you can get past them and FIND THAT MYSTERIOUS BASIC INCIDENT AND DESTROY IT. In a limited area, "basic on the chain" is supposed to resolve that area. In regard to your ENTIRE case, "basic-basic" is the theoretical incident that should resolve ALL ABERRATION when "erased."

It's like the power-ranger commandos sneaking behind ENEMY lines under cover of night and blowing up the enemy's key bridge, which cuts their entire supply line, causing all their battle lines to fold up and go away. IF you could do it, it would be really cool. Unfortunately, in my experience, it simply it doesn't work that way. "Nice" hallucination, quite unrelated to reality.

I don't see that things usually "BLOW" by erasure of the "basic" incident. I think things usually RESOLVE when you look at EVERYTHING that needs to be looked at, and ask a few right questions about it. You don't need a meter to find what the client needs to look at . . . the client will tell you what he needs to look at. I find a good session pattern is usually more like a FULL CIRCLE, [from present time, elsewhere, back to present time], than a straight line, [from the present back into the past].

YOU NEED TO EXAMINE ALL YOU NEED TO EXAMINE

Any incident addressed will tend to bring into view ALL other "similar" incidents, NOT just earlier ones. Certainly, later incidents restimulate earlier ones . . . but earlier ones also restimulate later. Since later incidents in similar situations are likely to be "more similar" than early incidents, I find that later incidents seem to be more stirred up by earlier ones, than early ones by later. If you do go digging around in the far past, I think it tends to restimulate related themes from that past point up to the present. If you go WAY EARLY . . . boy, there is LOTS of LATER STUFF!

That doesn't mean that very early incidents don't need to be addressed, just that you don't' need to go agressively looking for them with a meter and stirring them up when the client doesn't have any attention on them. For instance, if implant experiences are all fired up and the client's attention goes to them, you definitely need to address them. Of course, maybe they are all stirred up by hundreds of hours of Dianetics, poking around on the whole track, bypassing charge and overwhelming the client!

My experience running Dianetics [an earlier-similar regression technique] is that often the situation does *NOT* resolve on the earliest incident, as the "gospel according to source" dictates that it MUST, but rather when the client STOPS going earlier similar and starts to "randomly" mull over the entire chain of incidents, and how they relate to his present situation [much as UCP encourages him to do].

I found as an auditor that it was often much better to just shut up and be quiet than to keep "standardly" "controlling" the client's attention to "earlier similar incidents," according to "the process" I was "running" ON him. [A good surgeon would never stop cutting and slicing until he got ALL the engrams, would he?]

I find that in a good session of Universal Clearing Process, the client starts out with attention in some area. He looks at many incidents, past and potential. Many of them MAY SEEM totally unrelated at first, and he may have NO IDEA why his attention is going to those situations or incidents. However, I find the session usually comes around FULL CIRCLE, and at the end he relates the entire session to what he first started discussing.

In other words, IN RETROSPECT he sees that EVERY apparently unrelated thing he looked at was actually the SAME place . . . in his mind. Some incidents are early. Some are late. Some SEEM to be on what a $cientologi$t would absolutely describe as "unrelated chains" [and therefore should be ignored and bypassed] . . . until the client SEES the whole situation and it all makes sense to him . . . and the auditor.

The use of the meter to FIND incidents and "charge" in $cientology is one of the major technical disasters because it functions not only as evaluation but also as invalidation. It puts the client into things he isn't ready to handle and doesn't need to handle. It ignores many things he DOES need to look at, and actually tends to BYPASS the clients entire CASE.

Assessing for "THE charged item" and relentlessly PURSUING it "earlier similar" with some obliterating PROCESS while steadfastly and resolutely REJECTING AND IGNORING all the "DEV-T," "Q&A" [and otherwise evaluated and invalidated] items that NATURALLY come into view for the client [and which the auditor adamantly ignores, disposes of, or otherwise dismisses] . . . MISSES *MOST* OF WHAT HE OBVIOUSLY NEEDS TO LOOK AT . . . AND BYPASSES *HUGE* AMOUNTS OF CHARGE.

Don't worry . . . our technology is perfect! . . .

A TYPICAL EXAMPLE OF $IMPLI$TIC $CIENTOLOGY $EN$ELE$$NE$$:
THE "LAW$" OF LI$TING AND NULLING

"What do you want for breakfast?" is a "LISTING QUESTION." It will probably read on the meter, it will probably have interest, and the wrong item may very well send the client into a mis-emotional outburst or even tailspin.

According to "$tandard Tech" you can therefore ONLY ask this question ONCE of the client. . . EVER! You MUST list and null the question to BD/FN item [figure-figure, mystery, hocus-pocus process], and INDICATE [evaluation] the item to the client. That's the END of it! It's handled! If his attention EVER goes to this question again, YOU screwed up [NOT the Commode, HE's infallible!]. You must then immediately whip out your trusty L4B-Recked and assess for the errors you committed.

The idea that ANY question might have a new and different answer in EVERY new unit of time apparently never occurred to the Master Tech Whizzer.

The idea that there is NOT *ONE* key item that ALL other items are "locks" or "secondaries" on also apparently never occurred to him. The whole listing and nulling process is simply another effort to find the ONE key SHORTCUT item that will BLOW all the others. [Try "Monica," she works better, and she's MUCH cheaper than auditing!]

YES, you can find AN item that will BEST REPRESENT some others [today]. Of course, a different item may best represent them tomorrow, or even twenty minutes from now. The whole REPRESENT process is an activity of SYMBOLS [ = HALLUCINATION = DOUBT] that alter-ises things and makes them more solid. The whole effort to find "THE" RIGHT item is an alter-is, and bypasses charge.

There is NO *ONE* "RIGHT ITEM." There are *MANY* right items. The client needs to look at as many items . . . as the client needs to look at. You know when he has looked at enough items in an area . . . because his attention goes to a different area. You DON'T have to make it difficult and mysterious.

There is no need whatsoever to smash the clients case down into ONE [FALSE] item. There is no need to evaluate and invalidate for him by INDICATING his items TO HIM. That is completely backwards. The client will indicate his items and understandings to the auditor/coach when he SEES them. Then the coach will then know he is through in that area. The seek-and-destroy "hidden" case mentality just messes up the client by bypassing huge areas of charge, and then moving on to new areas because the "reading item" no longer reads . . . or FN'd once on a gleeful hallucination.

The whole effort to LIST and NULL to the "CORRECT ITEM" is simply another "quickie" manifestation of trying, on various lower harmonics, to get the "one-shot-clear." It's another manifestation of total unwillingness to actually have the client confront the clients "case." It's another "do-it-to-him" error . . . like the surgical removal of engrams. I never knew any one-shot "be three feet back of your head" exteriorization clears, but my guess is that perhaps they were in VERY bad case shape . . . since they were so hypnotizable that they couldn't hold their position in space against one simple command.


THE SIMPLE, HONEST, OBVIOUS, AND COMPLETELY OVERLOOKED SOLUTION:

Of course, the JOKE is that this chronic attempt to find the "quickie" way to locate to the clients "real" case and BLOW IT UP FOR HIM [for a HUGE FEE] results in THOUSANDS of hours of auditing . . . and NEVER handles the client's real "case" . . . when actually he COULD easily get up above death in a few hundred hours . . . if he did it the "slow," patient, thorough, diligent and HONEST way . . . THAT WORKS! [Just another overt product from the King of ENEMY, the master liar, mister Source Person!]

The reason that $cientology could *NEVER* find the "source" of your "case" . . . is they never look at YOU AS SOURCE OR CAUSE! THEY LOOK AT YOU AS EFFECT! They look at "your case" as though it was something SEPARATE [DISASSOCIATION = TREASON] from you, that was CREATING (effects on) YOU, as if *IT* were the SOURCE of YOU! That's ASSHOLE-backwards, and resulted in a hysterical psychotic Commode, with a navy of brain washed-up psychotic deludants, engaged in a massive criminal conspiracy to "clear the planet" . . . of "counter-intention" . . . thru TERRORISM!

PLEASE give me a break!

Fortunately, the remedy is VERY SIMPLE, and even handles See Borg Track!
Consult the *CLIENT* as the SOURCE of the CLIENT!
Simple! True! Powerful! Effective!
